BOPPILATES is owned and operated by a Mother Daughter team who are passionate about being both physically and mentally healthy in their daily practice and busy lives.
No matter what challenges we had to face, we found guidance and inspiration in each other, courage and confidence in our bodies, and abilities to recover and build inner strength in our physical workouts.
Alaina, 26 and Patricia, 62 developed a method that worked for both of them by maintaining a focus on evidence-based practice, utilizing their bodies as the scientific evidence to test and attain the highest physical levels of success in their workout.
Pilates Training and Cardio Assault Fitness provided the tools that helped them build their way back after Covid with the body shape, fortitude, flexibility, intensity, and power they needed to create BOPPILATES.
The physical results, mental well-being, and how they got here with their practice and methods is what they want to share with you.
The fitness industry is full of misinformation and social media trends, recognizing that, they have concentrated their education on the amazing new techniques, methodologies, programs and equipment that can drive results oriented, safe and effective classes for you.

Alaina Bopp learned very early in life that being physically strong is something you cannot take for granted. At the age of 6, Alaina was diagnosed with health issues that caused her bones to break and muscular injuries that required constant hospitalization. It was through her love of dance that she was able to persevere and participate as a Competitive Dancer at the Dance Studio of Fresno. Her doctors and specialists reminded her Mom that it was her discipline and commitment to daily dance practice that gave her the physical strength and mental fortitude to recover from each injury. Finally, surgery and experimental treatments at the Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford in 2009 allowed her body to start healing. Demonstrating the same discipline, commitment, and dedication to her practice she showed as a child, she went on to become a professional ballet dancer dancing for the: Marat Daukayev School of Ballet, The Kirov Academy of Ballet, and attending University of California, Irvine (UCI) Majoring in Fine Arts (Dance)
It was at UCI that Alaina discovered and started to study Pilates. Through her Ballet practice and Pilates training, she incorporated fundamental movement patterns for optimal posture, flexibility, balance, reactive, resistance, agility, strength and core improvement for athletes like herself. Fitness fanatics who may be more susceptible to injury, have pre-existing conditions, or must move in slow or controlled movements when they are in periods of weakness, recovery, or high risk. Pilates is the perfect modality because the reformer provides the structure to perform repetitive movement in a controlled and unstable environment forcing the body to recruit muscles to stabilize itself. As Alaina’s experience, training, and exposure to other Pilates methods, studios, teachers and equipment grew she chose the Balanced Body Allegro 2 Reformer and Cardio Assault Runner to add to her curriculum at BOPPILATES.
Alaina’s classes will help build your Mind/Body confidence in your physical abilities by introducing exercise and movements that will enhance muscular endurance, aid in joint and core stability, and improve an overall mind-body connection with results. If you want to feel pure support from the heart, experience incredible physical results, and have your endorphins dancing all day– Come take a class with Alaina Bopp.
If Patricia isn't teaching Pilates, or playing with her 3 doodle puppies at the beach, cooking up a gourmet meal with her daughter & son, or traveling around the world - she is working as a Senior Vice President at Teleperformance. She is a results driven business leader and a proud Alumna of Fresno State. Patricia has been a Physical and Mental Wellness Advocate her whole life.#MINDBODYSPIRIT
Gaining control over the changes in her aging body have been the motivator to use herself as the evidence-based scientific test subject and proof of the benefits of the curriculum of BOPPILATES. Understanding that the human body at 60 is not able to sustain the same stress it did in her forties, that physical activity is different than exercise, and that muscular dysfunction and increased rate of injury can happen just because you moved left instead of right – compelled her to start studying and training with Alaina. During her travels she has been able to learn and take classes from the best in the Pilates industry all over the USA and share the best of their techniques at BOPPILATES..
Discovering that as we get older we must learn to move biomechanically in slow or controlled movements to protect and build our joint and core stability. This leads to better muscular coordination and physical confidence. The Allegro 2 Reformer and Assault Runner are the most appropriate devices to provide support and structure to the movements without putting unnecessary demand on the body but still providing the resistance and unstable environment to force your muscles to stabilize your core while exercising.
As most women of Patricia’s age, she can now afford to make an investment in herself. The quest for her body transformation to optimize her metabolism, improve balance, provide injury resistance, increase muscular endurance, build strength, regain deep core stability, enhance her flexibility, strengthen her spine, and just feel amazing, inspired her to partner with her daughter Alaina to create BOPPILATES.
Patricia has discovered and is dedicated to a method that worked for her. Combining BOPPILATES to her practice of integrating weights, cardio, yoga, diet, and attitude. If you want to kick ass at any age - come take a class with Patricia Bopp!
Brianna Tucker attended CSU Monterey Bay on a scholarship to play Collegiate Basketball. In her four years, she received her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. After finishing, she looked for alternative ways to workout that didn’t require high impact on her body and was introduced to Reformer Pilates. As someone who has had multiple knee surgeries, reformer Pilates was a great way to get a tough workout without the wear and tear of high impact training. BOPPilates was a new yet fun experience to take on as she never saw a reformer class with a Cardio Assault Runner. This was a perfect combination to tone those most wanted parts on top of getting a cardio burst! After 5 years of practicing reformer Pilates, Brianna has made her way to become an instructor to help others feel their best.
Brianna’s classes will allow you to strive to get the best workout catered to you - with a competitive edge to do the best you can individually! From great music playlists to fun workout sets - you’ll leave class wanting more! Come take a class with Brianna Tucker!
